A passionate accounting and finance professional with accounting experience, a can-do attitude and a customer service centric ethos. You share the enthusiasm in our journey to making Kennards Self Storage a Favourite Name in Space.

The Role

• Assisting with month end procedures, including reconciliations, allocations and recharges.
• Assisting with bank reconciliations.
• Assisting with processing of accruals, prepayment, and journals.
• Assisting with preparation of statutory monthly and quarterly tax returns - AUS and NZ.
• Assisting with year-end processes, external audits.
• Assisting with Accounts Payables and Account Receivables.
• Assisting with accounting, customer account opening, closing, refunds, credits and charges related queries from the storage centre-based teams.
• Assisting with other duties as required to support the finance team.

 Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum 2 -5 years accounting experience
• Adaptability to working independently, collaboratively and proactively 
• Ability to problem solve or find solutions
• Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
• Ability to apply learnings to different scenarios and situations in answering technical queries
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong Excel/Word skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in accounting
• Newly qualified or Training towards accounting qualifications (CA/CPA)
